The standard protection class of VEDA Marine low voltage switchgear are IP22. With some modifications other protection classes can also be reached.

VEDA 5000 is certified by SGS Fimko. Design verification and type-testing has also been extended to ensure that our switchgears comprehensively meet the special requirements set by IEC/EN standards 60439 and 61439-1-2: 2009 and IEC 60092-302. VEDA as a product fulfills the safety requirements of LVD (2006/95/EY) and has also gone through additional testing to ensure it meets national safety regulations and special requirements of marine and off-shore applications.
