Vaasa Engineering Oy delivers standardized and customized independent, line-up and system drives for demanding industrial, off-shore and ship applications.
Our drives expertise is based on long-standing experience and cooperation with leading frequency converter manufacturers (e.g., VACON, Siemens).
Deliveries typically include preliminary design and dimensioning, drive manufacture and engineering, as well as installation supervision, commissioning and user training.

Independent Drives
We manufacture customized independent drives. Our independent drive solutions are based primarily on our own VEDA5000 system, although we also deliver other frame solutions according to customer requirements.
Our range also includes the VELC liquid-cooled frequency converter system, which is also suitable for demanding operating environments.
Air and liquid cooled solutions are implemented according to customer requirements and current standards. The products are manufactured in compliance with the requirements of customer-requested certification bodies such as DNV, LRS, ABS, PRS, RMRS and CCS, and other globally recognised bodies.
